Additional Hall Information

A Traditional Village Hall

The hall provides a fabulous venue for weddings, christening, children and adult parties, seasonal festivals and events as well as music, choral, dance and fitness classes and clubs. Aldbury Memorial Hall has:

  • Capacity to seat up to 100 guests

  • A fully functioning kitchen

  • Tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware

  • A stage with lighting

  • A piano and television

  • Wifi

THe
Hall

The hall has a stage, stage curtain,  lighting and a piano.

​

Electrical sockets are situated around the hall.

 

There is also a wall-mounted flat-screen tv and wifi available

 

Smoking is not permitted in the hall.

​

Please do not stick items on the walls, hooks have been provided above the rail to hold decorations.  

Furniture charges

Tables and Chairs are available to use for £5

​

​

Tressel tables and chairs are not included in the hire costs.  Where these are hired it would be appreciated if they were returned to the storage location in the small room at the end of the hire period. 

Kitchen charges

The kitchen and all catering equipment can be hired for £10.

​

The kitchen has the following 

  • Gas Oven / Gas Stove Top

  •  Cutlery, Crockery, Pans

  •  Hot water urn

  • Fridge

  •  Warming cupboard

​Heating charges

​The hall is kept at 12c during the winter months.

 

If you need the hall heated then an additional £5 charge is made.

 

For hires longer than 5 hours the charge is £10. The hall will generally be heated to at least 18c.

Parking

There is limited parking outside the hall but this is not specifically for the hall.

Rubbish

The hall has no refuse facilities and hirer's are asked to take their rubbish away with them.

Black bags can be found under the sink in the kitchen.

Cleaning

The hall is cleaned and restocked with communal supplies weekly.  Cleaning materials can be found under the sink in the kitchen.  Please leave the hall clean and tidy when you leave.

​

Please contact the booking secretary if there is anything wrong with the hall when you hire it.

Male, female and disabled toilets are available and baby changing facilities are situated in the disabled toilet. 

 

Please only put toilet paper down the toilet.

​

Toilet rolls and soap are provided.

We use an online booking system.  You will be asked to create an account with some basic details.  We use this system to provide invoices.

 

The Booking Secretary will be able to support any questions with the system.

  • Base price £10 per hour

​

  • Minimum booking of 2 hours for any session i.e. £20

​

  • Afternoon / Kids parties are a minimum of 5 hours which includes time to prepare and clean afterwards

​

  • For evening parties minimum booking of 10 hours

​

  • Commercial and Filming organisations: pricing on request to the Booking Secretary via the Contact Us form.

​​

  • The Hall has a license with the Performing Right Society for the performance of copyrighted music.

Permissible hours for public entertainment:

  • Monday to Thursday:  12:00 Noon to 23:00

  • Friday and Saturdays:  Noon to Midnight

  • Sunday:    12:00 Noon to 23:30

Maximum number of people allowed on the premises 100
